I have the most worn-in denim jacket, ever. It's a flea market find, and these pictures don't even begin to show how raggedy this thing is. Also, here's another outfit of mine wearing denim on denim. I have my phone number written inside my jacket like I'm a 3rd grader; hoping that if I ever god-forbid lost it, that it would come back to me. The gold angel pin on the collar is something that I hand-picked out of my grandma's costume jewelry trinket box when she passed. I love it. Slowly adding pins and patches to this has been fun for me. I highly encourage bedazzling a favorite vintage piece like this. Any suggestions on where to find vintage pins? Do you have a fun denim jacket? Let's talk.
Not sure if these are considered overalls or a jumpsuit, but I'm totally okay with wearing them like 6 days a week. After reviewing these photos, I think I've finally realized how red my hair is. Jesus. Also I clearly need to learn how to brush my hair. I've gone red off and on since I was a senior in high school and I have ruined many many towels and pillowcases since then. I've tried lots of different shampoos to help keep the color, and these work the best (here and here). Not sponsored, don't worry.
Had fun walking around one of my favorite neighborhoods in Los Angeles, near Vermont Blvd in Los Feliz. Really fun vintage shops in this area. And you HAVE to go to Tacos Tu Madre. Photos taken by my v talented 4ever pal, Adam Dillon. Overalls by one of my favorite LA-made brands Flynn Skye, and in love with these sunglasses by Karen Walker. Bucket bag (that I treat like my first-born) by Mansur Gavriel.
The title of this post might seem semi-depressing. But don't worry, it's my birthday season and after I finish writing this I'll send this link to my non-existent boyfriend. But reallllly, I've been swooning over the new fall collections that are coming out; and I'm so head over heels in love that I get the same satisfaction out of Stuart Weitzman boots as I would be by being in a relationship. The highland boots are such a staple this year. If Kate Moss has them, I have to have them. right?
My birthday is next week (!!!!!) and I'm planning on celebrating (one of the many, many ways) by buying myself something from Androgyny Designs jewelry. All pieces are handmade here in LA by a pretty girl named Courtney and their instagram feed makes me drool. I have a couple of her pieces and I always get compliments every time I wear them. Above features the One-of-a-Kind Silver Ear Pin and the Bronze Fractured Earth Cuff.
Another thing I have been obsessing with more than usual is stationary. I have turned into a stationary HOARDER. I just wait for any occasion to send a card in the mail. I honestly think I sent one of my friend a good luck card before she went on vacation for 2 weeks. The only thing better than sending cards, is receiving cards. And sadly, the return rate isn't doing so hot right now. But I have optimistic thoughts for my birthday. One of my favorite stationary brands right now is Rifle Paper Co. ; anything floral is my fav.
Discovered this new designer through their pop-up store on Abbot Kinney that is open for a few more weeks; and these bags had me at hello. Cuyana is a Bay Area brand that has been popping up around LA, previously before Venice they were at The Grove. I adore the elegant simple designs, all the bags are timeless and will never go out of style. My favorites are the Classic Leather Totes (that are made in the USA!) and the one featured above, the Cinch Shoulder Bag.

All of my outfits for Outside Lands were a result of vintage shopping, thrift store digging or things borrowed from my pretty friend's closets. This outfit was one of my favorites since I have an unhealthy obsession with cheetah print. All things borrowed from my friend Talia except for my two layered shirts who are made by Morrison Grey. Here's a not-in-order assortment of internet appropriate photos from my time in dreamy San Francisco with the best of friends a girl could ever ask for. Above photos by my bff Brooke Janzen.
